Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
The Association of Business Executives (ABE) Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management (TTHM) is accepted at many universities and can be used as a pre-requisite for entry into second year of University or the ABE Advanced Diploma.
The Diploma programme is split into two parts and run over 12 months:
Diploma Part 1
- Economic Principles and their Application to Business
- Organisational Behaviour
- Financial Accounting
- Travel, Tourism and Hospitality
Diploma Part 2
Three compulsory units:
- Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication
- Human Resource Management
- Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Operations Management
Plus any two (2) from:
- Managerial Accounting
- Principles of Business Law
- Systems Analysis and Design
Pathway
Students who achieve the ABE Diploma may use it as professional qualification, or as an entry requirement into either the ABE Advanced Diploma or second year of a degree at one of many universities in the UK or abroad.

Entry Requirements
- An ABE Certificate or;
- 2 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent or 2 years relevant work experience and
- IELTS 6.5
Examinations
Examinations are set, organised and delivered by the ABE itself. ABE membership registration is required and examination registration must normally be completed at least three (3) months before an examination is scheduled to take place (normally June and December). This process is done directly with the ABE.
